TSS: Touch Sensing Software from Freescale - How to Create a TSS Project
http://dev.emcelettronica.com/tss-touch-sensi...
The TSS - Touch Sensing Software solution transforms a standard micrcontroller into a proximity capacitive touch sensor controller. The touch sensor controller has the ability to control multiple touch pad configurations and mechanical keys while maintaining its standard MCU control functionality.

3D TV is Coming to your Home, can it be a Reality?
http://dev.emcelettronica.com/3d-tv-coming-to...
The television has come a long way since it was first made commercially available in the 1930s. A few decades later, the color TV was developed from the earlier monochrome television technology. The next big development was the introduction of digital TV and eventually High-Definition Television or HDTV in the 1990s. We can now watch HDTV materials from different sources like terrestrial or satellite transmission, cable, IPTV and optical media such as DVD-HD or Blu Ray. But what could be the next big thing in television technology?

A Primer on Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
http://dev.emcelettronica.com/primer-voice-ov...
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a type of transmission technology used in delivering voice communications over IP networks such as the Internet or ethernet networks. It is a communications mode that migrated from several traditional forms and eventually to the Internet.

Easy guide to PCI express
http://dev.emcelettronica.com/easy-guide-to-p...
PCI Express is a very popular interface standard with the transfer rate ranging from 500MBit/s to 8GBit/s (PCIe 2.0) in each direction, providing a high-speed bus for many devices such as graphics cards, sound cards, NICs, and Modems for computers and other embedded applications. By taking advantage of the standard’s high-speed switch mechanism, PCI Express has almost replaced the general-purpose PCI expansion bus, the high-end PCI-X bus and the AGP graphics card interface.

How to use a digital signal controller (DSC) to drive a high-brightness RGB LED for a pixel board
http://dev.emcelettronica.com/how-to-use-digi...
High-brightness RGB LED popularity for lighting applications is increasing as the cost of these devices becomes more attractive. However, this type of component brings different design complexities when compared to regular LEDs. To efficiently drive high-brightness LEDs, a switched power supply is required and a color mixing algorithm must be implemented. This article describes a simple application in which a digital signal controller (DSC) is used to drive a high-brightness RGB LED for a pixel board, several of which are connected on a network to create an RGB matrix.

Digital Signal Controller (DSC) motor control applications from Freescale
http://dev.emcelettronica.com/motor-control-s...
Digital Signal Controller (DSC) motor control applications allow precise programming of drive waveforms and control over power consumption, while reducing noise. They also provide either vector or vectorless control depending on application need and motor type; the DSC type can be selected to match exact design requirements.

IAR Development Tools for the Controller Continuum
http://dev.emcelettronica.com/iar-development...
IAR systems was founded in Uppsala, Sweden in 1983. We were one of the first companies that developed the C compiler for the ColdFire architecture. Since then we have grown to become a global organization with offices in 6 countries, North America, Brazil, China and some of the countries in Europe and distribution infrastructure in 25 countries.
