Marine Mortgages - Marine Finance Explained
http://www.marine-mortgages.org.uk/...
So what is marine finance? - you may know it by a number of similar names such as boat finance, yacht finance, asset finance, marine mortgage or marine loan. They all basically mean the same thing and in simple terms it's a way of financing a boat. Marine finance can either be in the form of a marine mortgage, or an unsecured loan. So what's the difference?

Dark Cloud Over
http://www.japanese-candlesticks.co.uk/candle...
I love the name of this particular candlestick formation as it describes the price action in the description exactly. A dark cloud has appeared on the horizon and we need to take notice. So what has actually happened here? We have a significant up bar which has closed at a price. The following candlestick has opened higher due to the continued buying pressure but then falls to close as a significant down bar.

Sugar - Sweet But Deadly!
http://www.obesity-facts.com/...
Losing weight is not easy (understatement of the century!!) but once you begin to understand the role sugar plays in our diet, then you will begin to see how, with a few changes, we can start to take that all important first step to losing weight. The key to success is to remove sugar from your diet, not faddy low fat diets, or supposedly healthy low fat foods, and please forget all you have ever been told by the diet industry.

Is The Euro The New Reserve Currency?
http://www.euro-vs-dollar.com/euro-vs-dollar-...
A world where the Euro surpasses the US currency as the senior reserve currency would represent a major change from the status quo, and yet the Euro has now become the reserve currency of choice by many of the world's leading banks. The European economy is second in size only to that of the US, and represents 22% of the world's total gross product with a working population that is the third largest in the world. The European Central Bank has responsibility for maintaining liquidity, purchasing power, overall stability, and for setting interest rates in order to maintain economic order.

A Simple Buy Right Strategy Explained
http://www.covered-call-writing.com/covered-c...
The buy write covered call strategy is very simple - select and buy the stock, place a stop loss, and then sell the call option - job done! The objective in using this strategy is to write the option which then expires worthless. To write another option on the same stock. To continue this writing process for as long as possible and to collect any dividend, if possible, whilst holding the stock.

Basics of Currency Trading
http://currency-forex-trading-online.com/star...
All trades in forex are quoted in pairs. The first currency is called the base currency. In world markets the dominant base currency is the Euro, ( not the US Dollar) and so Euro currency pairs will always be quoted with the Euro first. The six most widely traded pairs are: euro dollar, dollar yen, pound dollar, aussie dollar, dollar swiss and dollar canadian. These are known as the

How Futures Contracts Work
http://www.futures-trading-online-contracts.c...
Before we start to look at what constitutes a futures contract it is important to understand that futures trading is unlike any other market, in that many of the underlying assets being traded, are real, and in many cases, living or growing.

Improve Your Trading and Investing Using Volume Spread Analysis
http://www.making-bread.co.uk/volume-spread-a...
In technical analysis using charts and volume, we are NOT trying to predict tops and bottoms ( nobody can, but many have tried). What we are doing is looking for possible turning points, then waiting for confirmation before we do anything. Once the move has been confirmed we may then decide to trade. What it also does not tell us is the length of the move, which could last days, weeks or months. This is why we have strict money management controls in place, just in case we are wrong or the move only lasts for a short time and then continues in its original direction.

Saving Bonds Explained
http://www.saving-bonds.net/...
If you have ever borrowed money from someone, perhaps a colleague at work, and said to them 'I'll pay you back tomorrow', then in effect you have issued a bond. Perhaps you have left your wallet or bag at home - perhaps you have a temporary cash flow problem, whatever the reason your colleague has provided you with a short term cash loan, so that you can continue to work in order to repay them in the near future. Now in this simple example, nothing has been written down ( you have a verbal contract in this case ) but your colleague will expect to be repaid tomorrow in full. In effect you have issued an IOU or a

Best Isa
http://www.best-isa.org.uk/...
The history of the ISA, or Individual Savings Account, can be traced back to the Conservative government of the 1980's and the then chancellor Nigel Lawson. With the move towards privatisation of state owned assets, the advancement of home ownership, and the encouragement of individuals to invest in the stock market, the PEP or personal equity plan was initially introduced. This was the great vision at the time of a share owning democracy, which coincided with the market deregulation some years later. PEPs were first unveiled in the 1986 budget, and initially were focused on individual shares, as the name suggests. Over the years various changes were made to the original product to make them more attractive to investors, such as increasing the amounts that could be invested, and aligning them to the tax year, rather than the calendar year.

Euro vs dollar
http://www.euro-vs-dollar.com/...
My own view is that the USD is currently oversold against both the UK Pound and also the Euro, but that the Euro will continue to strengthen into next year and may reach 1.50 or even 1.60. If the world economies start to slow and interest rates are cut, then this could signal the start of a possible turning point
