raw processing services provided @ jaincotech http://www.jaincotech.com/raw_processing.htm... What is a RAW image file? A RAW image file consists of minimal data that is processed from any digital cameras or the image scanners. The RAW image files are so named as they are not yet ready or processed to be used for any digital image editing processes. Also the RAW image files are many a times called as ”˜Digital Negatives’ as they serve the same purpose of the ”˜Photographic Film Negatives’ but stores more information than a photographic film negative to create an image. As compared to the photographic film negative, a digital negative, i.e. the RAW image file have a wider color gamut than the final image format. All the in-camera raw settings suchlike sharpening, saturation, and white balance can be selected and adjusted after the shutter is pressed by applying these settings to the RAW image files on the computer. At JaincoTech, we practice the raw processing service by converting the Canon digital camera RAW image format version 2.0 (CR2) to Tagged image file format (TIFF).
