Hoover S2220 Flair Bagless Upright Stick Vacuum with Power Nozzle http://www.americasvacuum.com/Upright-510110-... I agree with other users. This Vac really gets its done! I was so happy with it's ability to pick up small/lightweight items, and when used up against baseboards it got everything! I LOVE the fact you can switch on/off the carpet brush feature, my full size Vas was too powerful for my area rugs, and this Flair gets the job done easily! Everytime I use it I am shocked at how much it has picked up! Things I didn't even know were there! The largest items I've seen it pick up so far was a Cheerio without a problem. And my 16 month old doesn't mind the mild sound of this Vac either! I have recommended to all my family and friends with tile or wood floor, works great! I would also like to see a longer cord and detachable hose feature for tough to reach spots, but overall this is 5 star!
Hoover 5507-900 Elite Auto-Rewind Bagless Upright Vacuum Cleaner http://www.americasvacuum.com/Upright-510110-... Having two different Eureka Optima's break within a six month period, I figured it was a sign to maybe try a different make and model. Then I saw this Hoover and figured I'd give it a try. I'll admit I was a little unsure at first because it was a little too big, especially for my apartment. But wow, was I surprised by it's performance and features. Setup was a breeze, took five minutes and a phillips screwdriver. The retractable cord is an awesome feature, but by far my favorite feature has to be how you release the dust cup. It's just common sense, but took forever for someone to realize "Hmmm, let's make it easy and prevent dirt going everywhere by having the cup release from the BOTTOM!" And you can do so one handed, with the flick of your thumb. Storage is the same as my old Optima, it's just a little taller, but I can tell this badboy is going to be around for a long long time. Five stars all the ways!
Electrolux EL5020A Intensity Upright Vacuum Cleaner http://www.americasvacuum.com/Canister-510108... The Electrolux Intensity upright- excellent design, suction, and storage.
I love the fact that it is so simple in design without all of the hoses and attachments.
All I ever did with the hoses and attachments on my old Hoover was trip over them, Struggle with them, and curse at them when they fell all over the place.
As for the small bag, larger bags just reduce suction. Also, the dirt inside larger bags just collects, then the dirt begins to stink and whenever you turn on the vac it smells.
Small bag is the way to go.
Excellent product, you wont be disappointed.
Sennheiser PMX80SPORT ECO Rugged Stereo Neckband Headphones for Sports (UK) http://astore.amazon.co.uk/buy.sennheisercx30... These really are the best headphones I have ever purchased, and I have owned numerous pairs. All of the pairs I have bought before I have used to listen to music while out running, and frankly, all were useless. None would actually stay in my ears without coming out, and while they were of good sound quality e.g. the iPod in-ear headphones, they just wouldn't secure in place without at least coming out once during a run.
Sennheiser CX 500 - High Quality Noise Isolating Ear-Canal Headphones With Volume Control - Black (UK) http://astore.amazon.co.uk/buy.sennheisercx30... Having previously owned a pair of CX300's i decided to upgrade to these when they stopped working after 2 and a half years of loyal service. Immediately I noticed the sharper sound that these beauties offered, and they really come into their own when you are in a noisy location as the noise cancellation is almost total. The volume control feature is useful so that you can switch between listening to music and talking to people and as they are made by Sennheiser are very very comfortable.
Fujifilm Finepix F200EXR Digital Camera (UK)- Black (12MP, 5x Optical Zoom) 3" LCD http://astore.amazon.co.uk/best.price.canon.i... I have a number of film and digital cameras but wanted one to carry around at all times to go into my pocket. The F200EXR does just that. The overall build is very good and the 3" LCD screen works well in most lighting situations. The lense has produced sharp pictures and the colour rendition is very good. I wish the Programme mode allowed more control (only 2 aperture settings) and I have to say that for all the technical claims by Fuji, the noise at 1600 (EXR) setting is very noticeable. The rest of the specs seem to live up to the claims made for them and overall I am happy to have this camera to hand
Canon PIXMA iP4600 Printer (UK) http://astore.amazon.co.uk/best.canon.pixma.m... Have recently purchased a Canon Pixma iP4600 when my last printer gave up the ghost. Have always previously gone for Epson printers and generally been very happy with them, but I print off a lot of photos and found it was becoming increasingly expensive to keep replacing the 6 ink cartridges of my last printer. No such problems with this one - not so many cartridges and much cheaper to replace. Print quality of photos is fantastic. Thought it might be hard to set up, but, again, absolutely no problems. Would recommend it. Much quieter and faster than my last printer too!
Epson Stylus SX600FW All-in-One Printer with Fax and WiFi (UK) http://astore.amazon.co.uk/best.canon.pixma.m... Epson Stylus SX600FW All-in-One Printer with Fax and WiFi
THIS IS THE BEST PRINTER THAT I HAVE EVER OWNED.
THE PRINTER WAS EASY TO INSTALL AND THE PRINTS WERE OF A VERY GOOD QUALITY.
ALTHOUGH A LITTLE NOISY THE PRINT AND COPY TIMES WERE VERY FAST.
Epson Stylus Photo PX700W Photo All In One Printer with WiFi (UK) http://astore.amazon.co.uk/best.canon.pixma.m... I was amazed at the amount of negative reviews about this printer, so felt obliged to put finger to keyboard.
We have had this printer about 2 months now - still using the original cartiridges incidentally - so ink-life looks pretty good from where I am sitting.
HP Photosmart C4580 All-in-One A4 Printer (UK) http://astore.amazon.co.uk/best.canon.pixma.m... Bought this about 14 days ago, installed wireless links very easily, even downloaded drivers for my netbook and installed easily. Print quality is really good.I have always used Epson before but would highly recommend this product, quickest quietest home printer I have owned, scanning and copying excellent.
Sony Cybershot DSCW210S Camera UK- Silver (12.1MP, 4x optical zoom) 2.7"LCD http://astore.amazon.co.uk/sony.cyber.shot.sa... I found this camera works really well. The photos are sharp. It picks colours very nicely. Although pictures can be easily blurred by a slight movement but there is a remedy to it. My wife wanted something handy small enough to carry in her handbag. We have a hybrid video/digital cam which is not very small to be carried all the time. emmm yes, a bit of negative. (its with all the Sony's) Sony seems to love their camera base and would not allow you to charge the camera from either a usb connection or a direct wire. You have to get the batteries out and put in the separate charger. I think they should design something like mobile phones have. Generally good camera.
