BMW E36 Blog hitting the 100 subscribers mark!
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/09/30/bmw-e36-bl...
Hi Guys, I'm glad to announce that BMW E36 Blog has hit the 100 subscribers mark (well, actually 101 mark) ... finally! I'm very excited about this new progress as it indicates that many readers are enjoying this blog. Here's a screenshot that I've taken when I saw the 101 subscribers, although I see 59 now, but I'm sure that's b/c of the week end and that it will catch up later today or maybe tomorrow.

Unlock the check button functionality for BMW E36 On Board Computer (OBC)
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/10/29/unlock-the...
Hi Guys, One of the issues that were annoying me about my car is the OBC (On Board Computer) check button. Whenever I press that button, I was receiving this row of orange squares that I didn t know what they meant. After a while, I thought this meant the car was ok and that there s nothing wrong to report until today when I found an article that s talking about this exact problem and how to unlock the check functionality. It turned out that the row of orange boxes (which looks like a full battery) meant that the check functionality is disabled in the car and that you have to enable it simply by following some easy steps.

Turn BMW E36 Airbag light off
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/10/30/turn-bmw-e...
Yesterday, I've taken my car to run a full-diagnosis for it. The diagnosis came back to me with two problems. First, the knock sensor which apparently needs to be replaced, but it seems like a hard job and I need to do some research before jumping into it. The second problem was with my airbag sensor.

BMW E36 OBC (On Board Computer) Manual - Part 2
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/11/13/bmw-e36-ob...
As I promised you in my previous post (BMW E36 OBC (On Board Computer) Manual - Part 1) which I published yesterday, here's the second part of the BMW E36 OBC manual. It turned out that it's a valuable source of information. I didn't really expect the manual to be this precise, but you know what. It is precise. I really enjoyed the information it provided.

Advertising on BMW E36 Blog
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/11/05/advertisin...
As you may know, I'm relying on the advertisements to cover the BMW E36 Blog expenses like disk space and bandwidth and those advertisements are what is keeping this blog running. Today, I have realized that BMW E36 Blog is consuming more and more bandwidth.

What problems does your BMW E36 have?
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/11/19/what-probl...
We all know that BMW E36 cars do have some (or many) problems that you will have to face sooner or later. I usually try to ignore them for a while, but find myself unable to keep ignoring them anymore, so I start a campaign to fix any problems that I see (or feel ). Last time, my headlights were looking foggy and I thought of replacing them, but unfortunately, found a very good solution (kind of waxing) that restored them to their great shiny look. Although I successfully managed to fix this, I still have many issues to fix in the car. For instance, the paint needs some maintenance. My sunroof doesn’t open correctly, so I have to address this as well.

BMW E36 Screensaver
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/11/21/bmw-e36-sc...
Hi, I've found a screen saver for BMW E36 cars only and since I know that you all are BMW E36 lovers, I've decided to share it with you. I have to admit that it could have better photos for better E36 cars, but still it's a nice one and you have to try it and judge for yourself.

Interior Car Care Kit for your BMW
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/11/25/interior-c...
Hi Guys, I have found this kit of Zymol products to clean your car's interior. The kit contains Leather Cleaner, Leather Conditioner (Wow!), Fabrique Cloth Cleaner, Seal Conditioner and Glas Cleaner 2 Pre-Wax Applicators. I normally use the usual stuff for my car, but I think I'm going to try this to see how good it is. I know the price is a little bit high, but the products are very good and this kit also works as a gift for car lovers (maybe for Christmas ). Take a look at it. You may like to get one for yourself too.

The Never Ending BMW E36 Story
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/11/28/the-never-...
I'm sure you're a little confused about the title of this post, and you maybe hit it just to know what is that never ending story. It all begins with a thread on bimmerforums, in which, Quart3r asks the readers of that thread to help him create a story about BMW E36. The trick is that every reader should participate in writing the story with a line of text (no more) that will build on the previous post.

Participating in the BMW E36 Blog
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/11/30/participat...
I've started a poll couple months ago with a question which goes like this "Would you like to participate in BMW E36 Blog by posting your own articles?". The result of the poll was 68% with a Yes answer. Making many users participate in writing on this blog will be a very healthy thing (well I think). It can provide the blog with fresh voices who will add variety and enhance the user experience on this blog. So, I've decided to give this a try and see if it's going to work or not.

Posting Frequency on the BMW E36 Blog
http://www.bmwe36blog.com/2007/12/05/posting-fr...
It's time for a new poll here on the BMW E36 Blog. I've read many posts that are talking about the posting frequency and how this would affect your audience. To summarize, your readers normally like a certain number of posts per week and that you should seek their opinion about your posting frequency and whether
