Set to replace the Getz ”” which has been available in the European market since 2002 ”” the five-door hatchback will hit the market in fall 2008. Like the i10, the i20 will be powered by a range of transversely mounted engines driving the front wheels.

The leak, published by CarScoop, reveals for the first time the styling of Hyundai’s new five-door city / sub-compact car, which replaces the aging 10-year-old Atos.

Hyundai has announced that it will begin selling its Veracruz SUV in the European market starting in October 2008. Introduced earlier this year in the U.S. to compete with the Lexus RX, the Euro-spec Veracruz will be powered by a 2.2L turbo-diesel engine and will sell for about 45,000 euros. Following the automaker's new nomenclature, the Veracruz will be renamed the IX 55 in European markets.

Dubbed the Elantra Touring "Beach Cruiser" Concept, the sport wagon was customized by K-Daddyz Kustomz of Bakersfield, California and was designed to be the "ultimate southern California beach cruiser." K-Daddyz Kustomz is partnering with Hyundai for their fifth consecutive world premiere at SEMA.
