In an effort to better establish the company in the luxury sports-sedan market, Toyota has announced it will begin offering factory-backed performance parts for its Lexus division. The news comes on the heels of BMW launching a similar program earlier this week. Lexus will use the upcoming SEMA show to debut its performance parts line. Lexus will also use the SEMA show to officially launch its IS-F sedan ”” a direct competitor to the Mercedes C63 AMG, Audi RS4 and upcoming BMW M3 sedan ”” and will allow attendees to test drive the 400 horsepower car.
