According to the Manchester Evening News, the 22-year-old Portugal international is up against AC Milan’s Brazilian Kaka, who is the favourite, and Barcelona’s Argentine Lionel Messi.
The award will exist presented at FIFA’s creation actor gala in Zurich on December 17 following voting from either public team manager and captain.
Ronaldo has been in stunning form since the hindmost season and swept the separate awards in England following playing a clew role in United’s Premiership triumph, and has helped his public side to qualify for Euro 2008 finals.
