Would anyone sell his sister for drugs? http://www.newzity.com/2008/04/06/would-anyone-... Sadly, a man in New Mexico did exactly that. After trading his 19-year old sister for drugs a few times, he finally sold her to a 24 year old Santa Fe man named Herman Flores.
The sordid saga started last September when the brother bought heroine from Herman and did not have money to pay. So he traded his 19-year old sister and reportedly told she belonged to Herman and he could “do whatever he wanted with her.”¯ There were other times when he traded her for drugs, but this was the first time he sold her or gave “full custody.”¯ She was not allowed to leave Herman because she was his “property.”¯ When last October Herman was arrested for other crimes, she fled. After his release from prison, last week Herman hunted her down. She managed to leave phone massages and notes for her boyfriend before Herman forcibly took her away. Her boyfriend called police and Herman was arrested.
What is puzzling is that a brother can do that to his sister. It goes to show people will do anything for drugs.
