Priaulx led absent cleanly from pole position at the flinch, yet it was title rival James Thompson who made the best flinch from third like he stormed past Nicola Larini and Tiago Monteiro, end into secondary.
Larini was disappointed with his getaway granting, and he felt that it cost him any hap of victory.
“I am a little mouthful upset like I lost my race at the flinch,” said the Italian.
