Kalou had a great chance to put Chelsea in front at home to Stoke but the Ivorian hit his effort over the bar. On the hour mark Stoke stunned Stamford Bridge, debutant James Beattie brought the ball down and played in Roty Delop who chipped over Petr Cech for the opener. Just as Stoke thought they would secure their first away win of the season, Juliano Belletti popped up with a late equaliser in the 88th minute. Deep into injury-time the Blues grabbed a sensational win thanks to a fine strike from Frank Lampard.
