The fading effect looked very nice on that car and I promised back then that I'm going to search for a DIY that will help you guys create this effect on your cars too. Guess what? I have found that DIY and luckily, it seems very simple and straight forward. This DIY procedure was created by clumpymold from BimmerForums. I hope you like it.

Angel Eye Headlights
http://turborevs.org.uk/angel-eyes-headlights-p...
Angel eye headlights are also known as projector lights have a lens which acts as the primary light source emitted from the headlight unit, thus allowing more light to come out of the headlight. Angel eyes also provide a wider light beam pattern compared to standard headlights thus also improving the vision. In addition, this new LED Halo Angle Eye is the latest design yet. As seen in the BMW cars, the custom headlight features an LED Halo Angle Eye ring around the projector lens.
