Forward Jiri Tlusty scored two goals in his NHL debut, including the winner early in the third period, to lead the Maple Leafs to a 5-2 triumph in Pittsburgh for their first road win of the season.
Recalled from Toronto’s American Hockey League affiliate early Wednesday, Tlusty showed off his forechecking skills before snapping a 1-1 tie at 1:45 of the third when an Alex Steen shot deflected off his behind and past Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury.
