India claimed a comprehensive 155-run victory over the West Indies in Hamilton to get their Women’s Cricket World Cup campaign back on track.

Beaten by hosts New Zealand on Thursday, India produced an emphatic response in Hamilton as they posted a daunting first innings total of 317-8, with Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur both scoring centuries.

West Indies openers Deandra Dottin and Hayley Matthews got their innings off to a promising start, taking them to 100 without loss.

But they suffered an alarming collapse, managing just 62 more runs as India stormed to victory.
