How Sophia Bush Is Supporting Partner Ashlyn Harris’ New Career

Ashlyn Harris is scoring new goals with a little help from Sophia Bush.

Following her retirement from professional soccer in 2022, the athlete is tackling a new project with the launch of her iHeart Women’s Sports podcast Wide Open with Ashlyn Harris—and she’s got her partner of more than a year firmly in her corner as she kicks off the new endeavor.

“She supports me so much,” Ashlyn told E! News of the One Tree Hill alum in an exclusive interview. “She has done podcasting and been in the entertainment space for so long, and she has continued to encourage me to be a little more forward-facing after my soccer career ended.”

And the two-time FIFA Women’s World Cup champ—who split from ex-wife Ali Krieger in September 2023 before being romantically linked to Sophia the following month—intends to record a sit-down with the Chicago P.D. actress sometime in the future.

“I think Sophia will for sure be on the show,” Ashlyn teased. “I think that will be something we do when the time is right.”
