Twitter reacts to Jake Paul’s crushing knockout of Tryon Woodley
Jake Paul said before his rematch with former MMA champion Tyron Woodley that he wouldn’t leave the decision up to the judges. He lived up to those words.
In the sixth round of Paul-Woodley 2, Paul feinted a jab to the body and instead landed a crushing shot to Woodley’s head, knocking the 39-year-old fighter out cold and sending the crowd at Amalie Arena in Tampa, Fla., into a frenzy.
HALE: Is Jake Paul bad for boxing? No, and it’s time for people to stop saying he is
In case that angle wasn’t good enough, here’s a look from ringside.
The win moved Paul to a perfect 5-0 with four knockouts in his career.

Paul and Woodley were both looking for a measure of revenge in the rematch. They were upset that their Aug. 29 clash ended in a split decision for Paul, with the YouTuber-turned-boxer claiming he should have won by unanimous decision and Woodley claiming he should have won.
Paul was originally slated to fight Tommy Fury, younger brother of heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury, on Saturday, but Tommy Fury backed out because of injury and illness. Woodley stepped in to replace him.

There was certainly no disputing Paul’s win early Sunday. Twitter was fired up after Paul’s stunning right hook:
Can’t hate on a single thing Jake Paul is doing. At all. Ride it til the wheels fall off Problem Child. You’ve got everyone’s attention.

There’s just something about Jake Paul I like. Kid’s got guts and rare charisma. He’s obviously not yet a polished boxer but he’s athletic and strong and driven and it won’t surprise me if he pulls something off in boxing that shocks his skeptics. JAKE PAUL SELLS.

Jake Paul KNOCKS OUT Tyron Woodley with one punch in round six. Was a dull affair up until the KO, which saw the former UFC champion knocked cold.
