Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley Break Silence on Prison Release In First TV Interview
Julie Chrisley and Todd Chrisley are detailing their emotional reunion.
The Chrisley Knows Best stars, who were convicted of bank fraud and tax evasion in 2022, shared what it was like coming back together after spending 28 months apart during their respective prison sentences.
“I was a little nervous,” Julie, 52, said in an ABC News Studios interview released June 29. “Just because, you know, you think, ‘Oh my gosh, I’ve been away this long.’ But then, when I saw him, it was as if no time had passed.”
For his part, Todd—who shares Chase Chrisley, 28, Savannah Chrisley, 27, Grayson Chrisley, 18, and Chloe Chrisley, 11, with Julie, as well as Lindsie Chrisley, 35, and Kyle Chrisley, 33, with ex-wife Teresa Terry—had a slightly different mix of emotions when he reunited with his wife of 29 years.
“It’s just weird, because she was never away from me,” he explained. “Even the whole time we were apart, she was with me every second, every breath that I took.”
