“She’s a big critiquer,” Kim told Vogue of her daughter at the May 5 event. “But it’s pretty good, you know, her critiquing.”

Indeed, North wants her mom to feel comfortable in her couture of choice.

“I think she’s also in a really positive place, like, vibe right now where it’s just like, ‘Hey, even if that’s not my style, I’m not going to critique that,” Kim explained. “Just be you and if you like that, then that’s what you should be into.’ I love that energy and she was such a positive force tonight.”
