Sunday Night Football DraftKings Picks: NFL DFS lineup advice for Week 15 Saints-Buccaneers Showdown tournaments
Week 15’s Sunday Night Football matchup features a battle between divisional rivals New Orleans and Tampa Bay. The SaintsĀ haveĀ dominated this division rivalry of late, winning three of their past four meetings, but the Buccaneers won the biggest game in that span,Ā last yearās divisional playoff matchup. The Bucs have several big-name stars, but aside from Alvin Kamara, the Saints mostly feature guys who could be qualified as “DFS sleepers.” Either way, there’s no shortage of good options for our DraftKings Showdown lineup.Ā Ā
Before we get into our picks, here are the key DraftKings Showdown rules: It’sĀ full-point PPR, and there are three-point bonuses for 300 passing yards, 100 rushing yards, and 100 receiving yards. The Captain picks costs 1.5 times a player’s original price, but he also gets his point total multiplied by 1.5.

DraftKings Showdown Picks: Saints vs. Buccaneers
$50,000 budget, need at least one player from each team.Ā
Captain (1.5x points, 1.5x salary) QB Taysom Hill, Saints ($15,600)Ā
Weāve seen enough from Hill to know what heās capable of inĀ fantasy football. Heās scored 26.3 and 27.7 DraftKings points in his two starts this seasonĀ and went over 20.0 DK points three times in 2020. It might be ugly in real life, but Hillās legs and touchdown involvement typically make him an attractiveĀ DFS option.
FLEX RB Alvin Kamara, Saints ($11,400)
With 31 touches in Week 14, Kamara let us know that heās completely over the ailments that kept him out for multiple weeks. His 49 targets are third on the team in spite of him only playing nine games, so thereās minimal concern over multiple mouths to feed. The Buccaneers are tough against the run, so Kamara will need to inflict damage through the passing game,Ā something thatās well within his talents.

FLEX WR Chris Godwin, Buccaneers ($10,000)
Godwin has exploded in recent weeks without Antonio Brown drawing targets. Tom Brady has thrown Godwinās direction 32 times over the past two contests, and Godwin has reeled in 25 passes for 248 yards. DFS players can gripe about the catch average and lack of touchdowns, but the target volume is enviable nonetheless. Godwin has five scores on the season, and with the amount of targets heās drawing of late, itās only a matter of time before he claims No. 6.
FLEX TE Rob Gronkowski, Buccaneers ($7,800)Ā
Gronkowski has been busy since returning to the lineup, drawing at least eight targets in each of his four games back in action. Heās scored double-digit DK points in each contest and eclipsed the 20-point barrier twice. The absence of Antonio Brown means Brady will continue to look No. 87ās direction frequently and in key areas.
FLEX TE Nick Vannett, Saints ($3,400)Ā
We donāt want to invest too much into the Saintsā passing game. Kamara will dominate touches, and Hill will win with his legs even more than his arm. That leads us to Vannett, however, as the tight end has caught three passes in each of the past two games. His snap rates increased dramatically over that span, and even if Adam Trautman is active, Vannett’s playing time should remain relatively stable. We may need him to score a touchdown to truly deliver for us, but we like his increased involvement in this new-look Saints offense.
FLEX RB Ty Montgomery, Saints ($1,200)
The backfield is getting a bit crowded with Mark Ingram reinstated from the reserve/COVID list, but Montgomeryās versatility draws us to him in this spot. Heās handled 19 touches over the past two weeks, and while that might not be the voluminous haul DFS players want to see, itās not as if there is anyone beyond Kamara truly dominating opportunity share.
