Deshazor Everett car crash: Updates on Washington Football Team safety’s fatal single-car crash



Deshazor Everett, a safety for the Washington Football Team, was involved in a single-car crash on Thursday night that resulted in a passenger’s death, per reports.

The passenger, Olivia S. Peters, 29, died at a local hospital after the crash. Everett is hospitalized with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.  

According to the sheriff’s report (via ESPN), Everett’s car left the road, hit several trees and rolled over in Loudoun County, Va. ESPN reports that the crash is still under investigation.

“Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been affected by this tragedy,” the Washington Football Team said in a statement. “Our team has alerted the league office and is working with local authorities as we continue to gather more information.”

Everett has been with Washington since 2015. He also spent time with the Buccaneers in 2015, only taking snaps during preseason training camp.

On Thursday, Dec. 23, the Washington Football Team safety was involved in a single-car accident that led to the death of the passenger, Olivia S. Peters. The crash occurred in Loudoun County, Va.
