“Jackpot Joey” is back and puffing on cigars in the locker room.
Following the Bengals’ 34-31 win over the Chiefs on Sunday, Burrow was shown celebrating in the locker room with a cigar hanging from his mouth. The victory gave Cincinnati its first AFC North title since 2015 and an opportunity to be the No. 1 playoff seed in the conference.
The second-year quarterback completed 30 of 39 passes for 446 yards and four touchdowns before suffering a right knee injury with 50 seconds remaining in the game. He was caught on rookie wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase’s Instagram dancing around the locker room while puffing the cigar.

Chase also had a stellar performance against Kansas City with a season-high 266 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Burrow helped Chase set the Bengals’ franchise record for receiving yards in a season and the NFL’s single-game record for most receiving yards by a rookie.
Burrow famously earned the nickname “Jackpot Joey” in 2019 as he set the NCAA record for most touchdown passes in a season while leading LSU to a national championship. Burrow was one of several players to light up cigars in the Superdome locker room to celebrate the Tigers’ title game victory over Clemson.
With Sunday’s win, the Bengals (10-6) have a chance to secure a first-round bye in the playoffs as the AFC’s No. 1 seed. Cincinnati will face the Browns on the road in their regular-season finale on Jan. 9.
