Shawn Mendes’ Shirtless Hike Will Have You Needing Stitches

“I know you all have been waiting so long to see these shows, and it breaks my heart to tell you this,” he wrote to fans, “but I promise I will be back as soon as I’ve taken the right time to heal.”

And it seems like Shawn is keeping his word on the music end. On Oct. 12, the “Treat You Better” artist shared an Instagram video of himself jamming on an acoustic guitar. “Baby I swear, I don’t wanna be friends anymore / I used to care but I don’t think I can anymore,” he sang. “Don’t call me, call me, I’m no longer yours.”

Later that month, Shawn posted several Polaroids from a recording studio with his frequent collaborator, songwriter Scott Harris. He captioned the Oct. 21 post with an emoji of a white heart. 

It looks like a little time off is doing wonders for Shawn!
