Elvis’ Ex Linda Thompson Pens Heartbreaking Tribute to Lisa Marie

Elvis Presley‘s ex-girlfriend is expressing her heartbreak following his daughter Lisa Marie Presley‘s death.

Following the singer’s death on Jan. 12 at age 54 from a possible heart attack, Linda Thompson, who dated the King of Rock and Roll in the ‘70s, shared an emotional post on social media.

Alongside a photo of Elvis holding a young Lisa Marie, Linda wrote on Instagram Jan. 12, “My heart is too heavy for words.”

The heartbreaking tribute came hours after the songwriter showed her support for Lisa Marie following the news of her hospitalization. In the post, she shared a series of throwbacks of herself and Elvis with Lisa Marie during the ‘70s.
