JoJo Siwa Is “So Proud” of Her Younger Self on Coming Out Anniversary
JoJo Siwa is reflecting on a personal milestone.
The YouTube star, 19, reposted the photo that she shared two years ago when she first told the world she’s a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community.
“2 years ago today,” she wrote on Instagram Jan. 21 alongside a rainbow of heart emojis and the pic, which showed her wearing the “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.” T-shirt that she’d received from her cousin. “Now looking back on everything…. I’m SO proud of 17 year old JoJo.”
JoJo came out in January 2021.
“Now that the world gets to see this side of my life, it makes me really, really happy,” she said in a message to her fans at the time. “I’ve been happy in this land for a minute now. And now though that I just get to share that with the world, it’s awesome. And I’m just so happy, and it’s just so amazing. And I want people to know that there is so much love in the world.”
